How to convert DVD movie to videos? 
1. Download ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum and install.
2. Run ImTOO DVD Ripper Platinum and Load your DVDs by clicking the "DVD" button on the interface or selecting the "Add DVD Folder" in the "File" menu.
3. Select the title or chapter you want to rip and specify the output formats by selecting an output profile in the "profile" combo-box at the bottom of the interface.
4. After specifying an output format for title or chapter, you can set the advanced setting options. The rip parameters panel on the right of the interface shows general standard parameters of the selected output format. By clicking certain setting, you may specify it, or just keep the default settings.
5. After setting everything OK, please start ripping by click the red button on the interface. All the checked chapters and titles in the list will be ripped.

  • AVI:

  • MPG:

  • VOB:
    • The audio/video container format for DVD, supports multi-video ,multi-track, and multi-title etc.
  • MP4:
    • The audio/video container format for MPEG-4,based on QuickTime MOV ,and features many superiorities.
  • 3GP:
    • 3GPP uses 3GP as a video format to transmit streaming media.
  • ASF:
    • Windows Media applies ASF as its audio/video container ,to be used for transmitting streams, script included.
  • WAV:
    • A kind of audio container. People often refer to WAV as the unzipped PCM code, but as a matter of fact, WAV also includes other ACM zipping codes such as MP3.

This guide will show you how to burn ISO and other CD/DVD image files. After downloading and installing ImTOO ISO Burner on your PC, you can follow the steps below to perform the burning.
Step 1: Run the software and choose source image file
First, run ImTOO ISO Burner. Click "Browse" button and select the ISO file you want to burn in the dialog box that appears. The software will list the volume label and file size below.

Step 2: Choose Recorder and adjust burning setting
Choose a Recorder and insert a recordable CD/DVD disc. In the info bar, the disc type and disc capacity of your inserted disc will be displayed. If the disc capacity is less than the total size of source image file, the software will remind you to change a larger disc.

Tips:
1. The default write speed is the maximum speed that you recorder and disc could support. Also, you can choose a write speed in the "Write Speed" drop-down list.
2. If you want to burn several copies, enter a number you want in the "Copies" box or click the up-and-down arrow to select a number.
3. If you check "Data Verify", the software will verify the data of disc backup to ensure the data usability after finishing the burning.
4. If the rewritable disc you insert is not blank, click "Erase" button to erase the data on the disc.

Step 3: Start burning
After all these finished, click "Start Burn" to start burning.
Tip: If the inserted rewritable disc has data existed and you haven't erased the data yet, the software will remind you that the inserted disc contains files after you click "Start Burn" button, and ask you whether to continue burning. Clicking "OK" will erase data first and start burning automatically after erasing.
From the status bar on the bottom, you can view the information of the burning process: time remaining, rate of progress, and so on. After burning completed, the disc will be ejected automatically.

How to copy DVD movies with ImTOO DVD Copy Express?
1. Download ImTOO DVD Copy Express and install.
2. Run ImTOO DVD Copy Express first , specify the "Source" and "Target" by selecting from the "Source Combo Box" and "Target Combo Box".
3. Select certain output mode as you need. There are two modes - Full Disk Mode and Main Movie Mode to choose.
4. There are more settings advanced in the "Setting Panel" with the button clicked. You can make some changes in temporary file folder, DVD volume, Audio track, Subtitle.
5. Click "Start Copy" button to copy your DVD movie.
6. While copying's done, ImTOO DVD Copy Express will show you a message box that copying's successfully completed and information about copying "Source", "Target", "Copy mode", "Compress ratio" and "Time".
Tips:

  • DVD±R: Two recordable DVD formats allow single-layer data to be stored on each side of the disc -- in other words, one side of the disc can hold upto 4.38 gigabytes of information. Both DVD formats are write-once formats, and can be read with most stand-alone DVD players and with virtually all DVD-ROM drives, though DVD+R is technically slightly more advanced than DVD-R.
  • DVD±RW: Two recordable DVD formats allow single-layer data to be stored on each side of the disc -- in other words, one side of the disc can hold upto 4.38 gigabytes of information. Both DVD formats can be read with most stand-alone DVD players and with virtually all DVD-ROM drives, though DVD+RW is technically slightly more advanced than DVD-RW.
  • DVD-R DL: Known as DVD-R9, this is blank DVD media that uses Dual Layer technology. It can hold up to twice the capacity of a single layer DVD-R.
  • DVD+R DL: DVD+R DL is the dual layer version of DVD+R format. It's main difference to the DVD+R is that it can store upto 8.5 gigabytes on one disc side, unlike DVD+R which can only hold the same amount of data that a single layer disc can, appx. 4.38 gigabytes. This means basically that every single one-sided movie disc ever released can be stored to one DVD+R DL disc without compression or removing anything from the original disc.
  • DVD-RAM: DVD-RAM (DVD-Random Access Memory) media are used in computers as well as camcorders and personal video recorders. Compared with other writeable DVDs, DVD-RAM is more closely related to hard disk technology, as it has concentric tracks instead of one long spiral track.
